There are other ways to get close to mountains besides climbing

In 1964, 10 Members of a Chinese mountaineering team reached Shishapangma, marking that all the highest peaks above 8,000 meters in the world have been reached by human beings.

In 1995, a Spanish mountaineering team pioneered a new route to the summit of Shishapangma, known as the "Figorius Route".

In 1999, an American mountaineer died trying to reach the summit of Shishapangma;

In 2002, five members of a Peking University mountaineering team were killed while trying to reach the summit of Shishapangma.

People's obsession with mountains seems to have no reason and seems to be a random reason. The ancients say: "All day long past faint drunk dream, suddenly hear spring do strong mountaineering. Because I go through the bamboo courtyard to meet the monk, I have half a day of leisure." This is leisure climbing. What comes after leisure? Of course it is the challenge, "will be extremely ling, take in the view of the small mountains" after climbing the open mind, people enjoy the pleasure brought by this process. But not everyone has the energy and stamina to climb mountains, so hiking is slowly becoming another way to get closer to the mountains.

For those who are less physically fit, we recommend the Khuragongi trail. The Khuragongi snow mountain on the central ridge of the Himalayas is 7000 meters high, but hiking around it is extremely easy. The daily hiking mileage is controlled within 12 km, no load, accommodation in the village, the hiking route is radioactive.

If you want to do a more difficult hike, there are two ways to do it, one is gama Gully hike, the other is Shishabangma hike, and today we are talking about Shishabangma hike. On a good day, five snow-capped mountains, makalu, Loughi, Qomolangma, Cho Oyu and Shishabangma, are spread out in a line on the edge of the sky above 8,000 meters.

Shishapangma, 8,029 meters above sea level, ranks 14th among the world's 14 8,000-meter peaks. Although ranked last, shishapangma is the only 8,000-meter peak located entirely in China. Its Tibetan meaning is "cold climate, severe and changeable weather", even if it does not make people feel close, but it is the local people in the heart of the auspicious sacred mountain.
