Titanium welded pipe generally has the following four processing methods:
1. Press and World Titanium Tubing
: Compared with the multi-seam "Xiami" type, the titanium pipeline has fewer welds, but the pressing process is more complicated, requires a large number of molds, consumes additional materials and processes, and the weld will also affect the corrosion resistance, and the appearance is not ideal.
2. Multi-weld type (commonly known as "shrimp waist" type) titanium tube: its processing technology is complex, normally the tube is cut into multiple sections of diagonal, welded or plated into multiple sections of expansion material, and then rolled welding. This method has additional corner material and a large amount of weld. Because the weld will considerably reduce the corrosion resistance, easy to leak, and the appearance is not excellent, the inner surface of the folding surface, increases the pipeline transmission resistance and increases the erosion corrosion of the back and reduces the life.
3. Stamping titanium welded pipe: The appearance of the titanium tube and push titanium tube seems to have no difference, but the processing technology is the tube blank in Chong Song stamping die stamping forming, forming the titanium tube back tension, and force the back to pull thin, the inner tube wall compression and thickening caused by uneven wall thickness or wrinkle, and the use of titanium tube back to withstand erosion corrosion, due to the back wall thin early loss, the overall life of the pipeline considerably reduced.
4, cast titanium tube: although there is no seam titanium tube, the wall thickness (at least 5mm) and the pipe wall thickness (2mm~4mm) can not match, thus increasing the transmission resistance, and the surface finish is poor, the most significant is that there are a lot of internal defects such as pores produced by the production, gravely affect the corrosion resistance and life.
The above titanium tubes are far from meeting the current requirements, and the emergence of push-made titanium tubes is quickly accepted by users and popular because push-made titanium tubes have their own characteristics.
The processing of titanium welded pipe is made of unslotted titanium pipe as blank. The blank whose pipe diameter is smaller than the finished diameter is pushed and extruded by a special pushing and extruding machine. In the forming process, the tube blank expands. The stress analysis shows that the stress is different in different parts, but under bidirectional compression, namely axial compression, radial compression and circumferential tension, the stress is always in a stretched state.
